2020              Teaching Assistant, Drawing 2 with Lecturer Mary Johnson, University of North Texas, Denton, Texas

  • Spring 2020: Responsible for instructing classrooms of seventeen students that met weekly: working individually with students to develop visual research during scheduled class period, held critiques, and graded. Integrated Adobe InDesign for digital portfolio and encouraged students to work with non-traditional drawing materials ranging from found objects, electrical tape, and digital platforms. Responsible for making sure that students in my lab section made it the drawing lecture once a week with Mary Johnson.

  • Online teaching through Zoom began March 23, 2020. Students watch pre-recorded lectures from instructor on Canvas, and have synchronous meetings with me during scheduled class time for feedback on current projects and any concerns they may have.

2020- 19       Teaching Fellowship (Instructor of Record), Introduction to Printmaking, University of North Texas, Denton, Texas

  • Spring 2020, Fall 2019, Spring 2019: Developed syllabus, lesson plan, lecture, demoed various printmaking skills, and graded twenty students as instructor of record. Worked with students individually in writing project statements.

  • Online teaching using Zoom and Canvas began March 23, 2020. Classroom meets as a whole once a week for synchronous learning, and individuals sign up for meetings regarding current projects and any concerns they may have.
